Completed in July 2025 for Bath and North East Somerset Council,

the project focused on enhancing the existing park with carefully selected new features that complement the wider site. The new trim trail encourages physical activity, balance, and coordination, while the goal end adds a dedicated space for informal sports and games, supporting active lifestyles for a wide range of ages

A key part of this project was close collaboration with the local community. Their input helped shape the final equipment choices, ensuring the new additions reflected what local users genuinely wanted. The works were also carefully planned and delivered around other scheduled events in the park, minimising disruption and keeping the space active and accessible throughout the installation period

The completed play trail and goal end now form a valuable enhancement to Weston Recreation Grounds, adding variety, movement, and long-term play value to the site. This project highlights how targeted, well-planned improvements can make a meaningful difference to community spaces, creating facilities that are practical, engaging, and built to be enjoyed for years to come.
