The brand-new play area was designed and built to set a new benchmark for modern play spaces. Working closely with local stakeholders, the project focused on creating an innovative environment that encourages active play, movement, and social interaction for children of all ages.  Every element of the site has been carefully considered, from the overall layout to the quality of the equipment and finishes. The result is a space that feels exciting, welcoming, and accessible, offering long-term value while meeting the needs of a diverse and growing community.  The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with praise from both the local community and the Council. Now recognised as one of the premium play areas in Wales, Morriston Play Area stands as a powerful example of how thoughtful design and investment can transform a site into a destination—and create a play space people genuinely want to share, celebrate, and talk about.
