Brynmelyn Transformed: New Play Area Revitalises Community with Creativity and Connection

In 2025, the Brynmelyn community saw a transformative redevelopment with the creation of a new, modern play area designed to inspire active play, creativity, and social connection among children and families. The project replaced an outdated and underutilised space with a vibrant, inclusive environment featuring innovative equipment, natural materials, and bold, contemporary design elements. Dramatic before-and-after photos capture the striking contrast between the neglected former site and the dynamic, welcoming space now at the heart of the neighbourhood.
